Description

It’s amazing how much you can learn about an area’s turbulent history just by strolling around the town of Ioannina. Join us on this fascinating 2-hour walking tour to discover the darker side of the Eternal City. You’ll see places and hear stories that no other tour guide will tell you about.

Find out everything about unpopular and controversial rulers and their harsh punishments of the local population, battles and sieges of the town, revolts, the Christians who were driven away, refugees, the First Balkan War, Greek defenses during World War II, the Holocaust, and disasters that have affected Ioannina throughout the centuries.
