    Let our professional tour guide take you on a wonderful journey back in time, featuring impressive religious landmarks in Corfu Town.

    Discover Saint Spyridon the island’s most important church that operated even during Venetian rule and admire exquisite Byzantine heirlooms of the 15th-17th centuries at the Antivouniotissa church and Byzantine museum.

    Passing through the old town, the guide will lead you to Spianada Square from where you will get the bus to the unique Byzantine church of Saints Jason and Sosipater.

    At the area of Kanoni, you will be amazed by the lush Mon Repos estate; your guide will narrate to you everything about religion in ancient Greece and the worship of Olympian gods. Then explore the 19th century villa of Mons Repos, former royal residence, now housing numerous archaeological exhibits. Take a stroll in the wonderful halls and discover their glory!

    When the tour is over, your guide will give you instructions about how to go back to town. But while you are here, why not take a walk in the beautiful estate or head to the seaside? Kardaki is the nearest beach, close to Kardaki spring, and it’s great for a refreshing swim.

    • Church of Saint Spyridon: A unique 16th-century church dedicated to Saint Spyridon, the patron saint of Corfu.
    • Church of Antivouniotissa/Byzantine museum: This church survived the tremendous raids of the early 16th century; nowadays the museum houses impressive icon collections reflecting Byzantine and Cretan art.
    • Byzantine Church of Saints Jason and Sosipater: The oldest Christian church surviving in Corfu, dating back to the 11th century.
    • Mon Repos Museum: This Neoclassical villa was the place where Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, was born and used to be a summer residence of the former Greek royal family.
    • Palaiopolis: Visit at the verdant estate where Mon Repos villa is located. When the tour is over, you can take a walk at Palaiopolis to see the remains of a Doric temple.
